He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Hulvey and Irene Roberts Hulvey; his son Michael Hulvey; and his siblings, Shirley Wasson, Donna Garcia, William "Buck" Hulvey, James Hulvey and Bobby Lee Hulvey.

He is survived by: his children, Amy Clark and Jason Hulvey (Kim Hulvey Bell); his siblings, Louise "Doodle" Garner, Karen Cooper, Lucy "Cricket" Spuhler and Benny Hulvey; and his grandchildren, Shay Hamby (Isaac), Lily Hulvey (Daniel), Alyssa Hulvey (Skyler) and J. Hulvey. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews.
