She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Charles (Wanda Whitton), Eugene (Phyllis Whitton), Brenda (Randy Roberts), Denise Crowe and Shelia (Tim Overby); her sister Patsy (Jerry Brown); her husband Rev. T. E. "Edd" Whitton; her daughter Dianne McCamy; her grandson Jeremy C. Goolesby; her parents, Gordon "Mutt" O'Linger and Ida O'Linger; and her son-in-law Billy "Mayor" Crowe. She was also cherished by 8 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
