He is survived by: his wife Darlene Colton Blackwell; his children, Margaret Fleming Buchanan, William Alan Blackwell, Tina Roe (Bob) and Joel Vinsant (Julie); and his grandchildren, Jacob Fleming (Morgan), Sara Hamrick (Justin), Caity Blackwell, Charlie Kory (Austin), Lee Roe (Ashley), Emmy Vinsant, Jessie Wheeler (Andy) of Joel and Vinsant Jr. (Vicky). He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
