She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Milton Blaylock and Dorothy Willodean Beaty Blaylock; her husband Wayne Hughes; and her siblings, Mickey Blaylock and Myra Thomas.
She is survived by: her sons, Chris Hughes (Ginny), David Hughes (Connie) and Ernie Hughes (Christy); her grandchildren, Tyler, Christen, Jessica, Makenzie, Morgan, Steven and Lindsey; and her great grandchildren, Hazel, Halle, Marshall, Mason, Kaylin, Maverick, Murphy, Bryce, Cole, Addison, Ty, Jayse, Jaxton, Jensen, Colton, Zakk, Kayleigh and Jaxin.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Corner Stone Funeral Chapel (40 Cornerstone Dr, Ider, AL 35981). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Fuller Cemetery (100 Memorial Dr, Ider, AL 35981).
