She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford Lee and Aileen Ann Thomas Durham. She is survived by: her husband Roger Burton; her children, Christy Gariety (James), Lee Williams (Joe Kominczak), Anita Griffin (Charlie) and Roger Burton Jr. (April); her grandchildren, Wayne Hyler (Jordan), Rachel Burton, Megan Burton and Justin Johnson (Bentley); and her siblings, Leslie Durham (Elizabeth), Janie Kantorik, Becky Scott (Bobby) and Diane Schaar (Rudy). She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Corner Stone Funeral Chapel (40 Cornerstone Dr, Ider, AL 35981). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
