She was predeceased by: her parents, Hewdie Carrell and Esther Whitley Carrell; her husband Bobby Guffey; her siblings, Melvin Carrell, Marie Carrell and Dorothy Holman; and her son-in-law Curtis Robinson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Anji Robinson, Gina Gilbert (Jamie), Sonya Middlebrooks (Daniel) and Chanda Gillian (Steven); her brothers, Varnell Carrell, Verlon Carrell (Lenice), Ronnie Carrell (Sheron) and Vonnie Carrell (Beverly); and her grandchildren, Andrew Robinson (Ericka), Zachery Robinson (Linsey), Sarah Dennis (Brandon), Meagan Nix (Gabriel), Ethan Gilbert (Devan), Brandon Middlebrooks (Katie), Emma Middlebrooks, Elisabeth Middlebrooks, Savanah Gillian and Chaleigh Gillian. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, many extended family members, and friends.
