Faye left this world on December 9, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Dee and Della Hill Pennington; her husband Joseph "J. C." McBryar; her daughter Tabatha Lynn McBryar; and her sisters, Ruth Blevins, Jean Mayo, Elma Clayton, Wanda Higdon, Martha McAllister and Judy Jones.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Whitley (Darrell) of Davenport, Florida, Crystal Freeman (Jeff) of Davenport, Florida and Deanna Shrader of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and her granddaughters, Tyree Middlebrooks (Scott), Makisha Cordell (James), Makala Freeman, Maleia Sealey (Blake), April Purdom (Mike) and Becky Holcomb (Alex). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
