We are sad to announce that on January 20, 2024, at the age of 95, Myrtle Chapman Young of Hokes Bluff, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Homer Chapman and Effie Chapman; her husband Carlis Eugene Young; her siblings, Clarence Chapman, Paul Chapman, Frankie Chapman and Mavis Marker; and her son-in-law Gary Reeves.

She is survived by : her son Ron Eugene Young (Cathy); and her granddaughters, Carolyn Reeves, Betty Morgan (Donnie) and Sherry Davis. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

The family request in lieu of flowers that donations in her memory be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
