We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2025, at the age of 80, James J. Earl of Holly Pond, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Ellen Louise Bates Earl; his son-in-law Shawn Tipton; and his grandson Anthony Pippin. He is survived by: his father Harlen James Earl; his wife Deborah Earl; his children, Richie Earl (Amy), Tim Earl (Gayla), Ski Smith and Michelle Tipton; his grandchildren, Reagan Pippin, Mattie Grace Earl, Emma Earl, Cessily Earl, Lane Tipton (Taylor) and Clay Tipton; and his great grandchildren, Drake Pippin, Ella Pippin, Cason Earl and Casey James Earl. He is also survived by his children or grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel (161 Brooklyn Rd, Holly Pond, AL 35083). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at the Union Grove Cemetery.
