Lindsay leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Lindsay’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Lindsay will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her father Kevin Harden Athow. She is survived by: her mother Donna Lynn Higginbotham; her husband Kevin Sullivan; her daughter Caitlynn Sullivan; her sisters, Brittney Ward (Johnny Menke) and McKenzie Smith (Connor Smith); her niece Avery James Smith; and her grandmother Virginia "Memaw" Roden. She is also survived by extended family, friends, and all of the children, animals.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Arab Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Lindsay's memory to UAB NICU or to Westside Veterinary Hospital under the account name of Lindsay Athow. Donations to Westside Veterinary Hospital will go toward caring for Lindsay's many beloved kittens, continuing the love and compassion she showed to animals throughout her life.
