She was predeceased by: her husband Lester Brooks; her parents, John Ivey and Rose Ella Thomas Ivey; her son Stanley Brooks; her grandson Jeremy Brooks; her siblings, Doyle Ivey (Raymond Ivey), Carolyn Gann, Gladys Talley and Vivian Batey; and her daughter-in-law Debbie Brooks.
She is survived by: her son Roger Brooks; her grandchildren, Josh Brooks (Kate) and Amanda Johnson (Bret); her great grandchildren, Abbie, Ryleigh, Bryleigh Brooks, Brayson and Bentley Johnson; and her sisters, Edith Underwood, Edna Ethridge, Mary Jo Ott, Debbie Jones and Sherry Ball.
