David leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. David’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew David will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther McAnally and Jimmie Rae McAnally of Sheriff's Department; and his siblings, Edith Coley, Mildred Ray and Luther "Bubba" S. McAnally.
He is survived by: his wife Judi; his daughter Randi McAnally Moreland (Joseph); his grandchildren, Paisley, Cooper and Maggie Moreland; and his sister Emily "Mimi" Howard (late Lou Howard). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ridout's Valley Chapel (1800 Oxmoor Rd, Homewood, AL 35209). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Alabama National Cemetery (3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115).
