He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony Anselmo and Rosa Anselmo of Bisaquino, Sicily.; his brother Salvatore Anselmo (Sam); and his wife Judy of Fort Payne, Alabama.. He is survived by: his children, Anthony Salvatore (Suzanne), Rose Sarris (George), George Anselmo Jr. (Raine) and Samantha; his grandchildren, John Christopher (Angela), Laura Elizabeth Anselmo and Yorgo Constandinos Sarris; and his great grandchildren, Louise Virginia (Lulu) and Christopher Alexander.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ridout's Valley Chapel (1800 Oxmoor Rd, Homewood, AL 35209). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
