He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Fuller Hinkle; his children, Austin Merritt Hinkle (Hope) and Leigh Ann Hinkle Barker (Chad); his grandchildren, Ella Grace Barker, Chole Annabelle Barker, Dexter August Barker, Connor Joseph Hinkle and Marin Grace Hinkle; his brother Francis Hunter Hinkle; and his pets, Trump and Precious. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
