She was predeceased by: her parents, William MacCallum and Rosa Bell Lee; and her brother Christopher James Thompson. She is survived by: her significant other Russell Brook; her children, Annette Sumner (Ron), Jamie Brook and Gabrielle Finkley (Wesley); her grandchildren, Gregory Kyer (Kate), Olivia Sumner, Jacob Reynolds and Lynleigh Reynolds; her great grandchild Eliza Kate Kyer; her siblings, Louie Thompson and Peggy Kendrick; and her sister-in-law Janet Williams. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Turners Funeral Home (360 E 3rd St, Luverne, AL 36049). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
