She was predeceased by: her parents, Casper John (C. J.) and Hazel Lynn Scheinert. She is survived by: her husband Noel Wray Allen, Jr.; her son Timothy Mark Allen (Lara Allen) of Vestavia Hills; her grandchildren, Avery Allen and Jack Allen; and her siblings, Evelyn Veal (Evan), Betty Brannon (Michael) and John Scheinert (Kay). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Christ the King Lutheran Church or the Parkinson Association of Alabama.
