He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas Turner and Cora Savannah Rowell. He is survived by: his wife Martha Mullins Turner; his children, John (Mary Christin) and Meredith; and his grandchildren, Weathers Turner, Whit and Joseph Shepherd. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
