We announce the death of Curtis Allen Garrett in Hoover, Alabama, who passed away on July 4, 2026, at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary Emma Boockholdt Garrett; his siblings, Ann Williams, Dewey Hobson Garrett Jr. and William Earl Garrett; and his parents, Dewey Hobson Garrett and Ruby Ozley Garrett.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Gayle Williams Garrett; his sons, Curtis Allen Garrett Jr. (Adria) and Scott David Garrett (Aline); his grandchildren, Ashli Clubine (Matt), Alex Garrett, Adair Garrett and Andi Garrett; his great grandchildren, Evelyn Clubine and Bruce Clubine; and his siblings, Charles Garrett (Linda) and Barbara Satterwhite.
