She was predeceased by: her parents, Calistus "Pete" White and Bernadette White; her brothers, Loras and Monty White; her brother-in-law Jared Spahn; her daughter Elizabeth Kerper Heinzman; and her granddaughter Angela Kerper Charlton.
She is survived by: her caregivers, Natasha Turner, Devoria Watts and Tomiko Knight; her husband Duey; her siblings, Judy Jurgiel (John), Phyllis Spahn, Mike White (Gina), Terry White (Joyce) and Casey White; her children, Anne Hitt (Lewis), John Kerper (Kimberly) and Timothy Kerper (Tracie); Ernest "Ernie" Engler. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Peter the Apostle Catholic Church (2061 Patton Chapel Rd, Hoover, AL 35216). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.
