He was predeceased by: his father E. C. Lawhon. He is survived by: his mother Fay Lawhon; his wife Alborada; his children, Kevin, Valerie and Amy; and his brothers, Steven and Larry.
A Mass was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church (5514 Double Oak Ln, Birmingham, AL 35242). A burial was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens (2701 John Hawkins Pkwy, Hoover, AL 35244).
