She was predeceased by: her parents, Harlan Woodrow Sr. and Rita Francille Shulthise Brewer. She is survived by: her husband Bill Czapala; her children, Kristin Jackson (Michael), Erika Qualls (Jeremy) and Erin Florez (Edwin); and her grandchildren, Elise Florez, Chase, Miles Jackson and Dayson Qualls.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Lou may be made to St.Jude's Children's Hospital, the charity that was close to her heart.
