She was predeceased by: her husband Nelson; and her parents, Elijah Gravette and Cora Gravette (Templeton). She is survived by: her sons, Michael (Jeanne) and Steven Nelson (Geri); her grandchildren, Jamie (Zachariah), Megan (Andy), Jake (Jen), Sam (Daniel) and David (Ava); her great grandchildren, Elijah, Crosby, Hank, Penny, Grayson, Maggie, Mila and Lana; her cousins, Gay Nell Vance, Mary Templeton, Wanda Johnson, Leila Ansley and Dean Templeton (Elizabeth); and her friend Donald Driver.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM.
