With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James Ketchersid of Hoover, Alabama, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. James left this world on September 2, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his sister Nancy Ketchersid Howard; and his parents, Rev. Burrell Ketchersid and Geneva Ketchersid. He is survived by: his wife Gaile R. Ketchersid; his daughters, Melissa Ketchersid McCullough (William) and Cynthia Ketchersid Byzek (Stephen); his grandchildren, Colleen McCullough and Andy McCullough; and his siblings, David Ketchersid (Mary) and Carol Ketchersid Doucette (Arthur).
