He was predeceased by : his parents, Dorothy Basselin and John Basselin; and his wife Mary (Hamilton). He is survived by : his sister Gail North; his sons, Christopher Basselin (Jenny) and Timothy Basselin (Robin); and his grandchildren, Elyie Brooke, Risa, Caleb, Calyie, Karis, Quinn, Lily Grace and Case.

The family requests that any memorial donations be made to Horizon Church, with a specification for missions.
