We announce the death of Joseph Peter Hale II (Hoover, Alabama), who passed away on August 5, 2026, at the age of 72. Joseph will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Joseph will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Joseph’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit Hale and Virginia Cooke (Kermit Hale); his stepfather Randolph F; and his nephew Samuel Lucas Hale. He is survived by: his children, Heather Quinn (Alex) of Vestavia Hills and Zachary Hale (Lily Puckett) of Brooklyn; his brother Kit Hale (Betsy) of Roanoke; his niece Libby Azzarello (Mark); and his grandchildren, Thomas and Owen.
