He is survived by: his mother Gayle Corley Humphrey of Alexander City; his daughter Claire Marie; the mother of his child Sharon Weldon Humphrey of Hoover; his brothers, Robert Henry "Hank" Humphrey (Patrice) of Fort Oglethorpe, GA and Michael Hunter Humphrey (Jennifer) of Prattville, Alabama.; and his nieces and nephews, Fletcher Humphrey (Bailey) of Oakwood, GA, Brynna Frantz (Stephen), Corley Humphrey, Sarah Beth Humphrey of Fort Oglethorpe, Robert, Ethan and Andrew Humphrey of Prattville.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Catholic Charities c/o Catholic Diocese of Birmingham in Hal's name.
