He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Frances Lovelady Wheeler; his children, Joseph Wheeler (Melinda), Amanda Marcum (Mitchell) and Emily Brown (Chris); his grandchildren, Addisyn Wheeler, Ryan, Henry Marcum and David Brown; his siblings, Pam Johnson (Randy), Debbie Coppock (Doug), Scott Wheeler (Robin) and Brian Wheeler (Nicole); and his parents, Joseph Grant Wheeler, Sr. and Eva Cook Wheeler.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Joe's memory to the American Heart Association, American Lung Association, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or a charity of one's choice.
