She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Check, Zelda Gorham, Jack and Laura Lou Cornelius. She is survived by: her parents, Charles Douglas and Sammie Lou Cornelius Gorham of Blountsville; her sister Carla (Dan Strott); her nephew Ben (Julia Clower); her great-nephew Graham Clower; her aunt Jackie (Kenneth Shell); and her uncle Jeff Cornelius of Oneonta.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Blountsville Baptist Church (270 College St, Blountsville, AL 35031). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to your local humane society or animal shelter or to Samaritan's Purse's Operation Christmas Child.
