He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Sanders and Martha Sanders; and his son Donald Sanders. He is survived by: his wife Jerri Sanders; his children, Dale Sanders, Todd Sanders and Liz Hyde; and his grandchildren, Hannah Payne, Carmen Harper, Isaac Sanders, Emma Cao, Matthew Sanders and Luke Sanders. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the McCalla Memorial Funeral Home (4780 Letson Farms Pkwy, McCalla, AL 35111). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
