With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Norma Hodges of Hoover, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Houston Currier and Mamie Gertrude Graham Currier; her son David Hodges; her sister Elaine; her brother-in-law Mickey Ellis; and her granddaughter Kendall Neill (Andrew).

She is survived by: her children, Carol Hazel (Roy) and Daryl Hodges (Janet); her daughter-in-law Joy Hodges; her son Barry Hodges (Nita); her grandchildren, Meghan Hazel, Randi Hodges (Drew Gann), Rachel Hodges Wood, Matt Barrios, Allison Bush, Stephanie Dyer, Shane Hodges (Cristin), Brandon Hodges (Courtney), Justin Hodges (Michelle), Ryan Hodges (Taylor), Chana Hodges (Joey Folker), Chelsea Miller (Ben) and Chaise Castro (Tristan); and her sister Wanda Handley. She is also survived by 26 great grandchildren (with one on the way), one great great grandson.
