With sadness, we share the passing of Patricia Johnston (Hoover, Alabama). Patricia, born on October 7, 1932 in Freeport, Illinois, passed away on July 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Johnston; her brother Charles Malone; and her sons, Michael Johnston and Mark Johnston. She is survived by: her brother Thomas Malone; her sister-in-law Dorothy Malone; her son Kenneth Johnston; her nibling Meg McCarthy (Johnston); her children-in-law, Kevin McCarthy, Maura Johnston, Lori Johnston and Linda Johnston; her grandchildren, Patrick McCarthy, Sean McCarthy, Keegan Grace McCarthy and Leah Johnston; her granddaughter-in-law Mindy McCarthy; and her great grandchildren, Alanna McCarthy and McKenna McCarthy.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church (2061 Patton Chapel Rd, Hoover, AL 35216). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
