It is with sadness that the passing of Peggy Mae Jones (Hoover, Alabama) is shared. Peggy, born on February 3, 1930, passed away on July 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Edward and Lila Chaney Sanders; and her brothers, Charles (Bud), James, John, Thomas (Bergin) and Robert.
She is survived by: her husband Malcolm; her sister Sue Sanders Jones (Carl); her nieces, Rebekah Jennings (Bill), Rachel Turner (Tim) and Ruth Laurent (Mark); and her caregivers, Trudy Hampton, Carolyn Harris and Angelica Pearce. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
