He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Seiler and Katherine Seiler; and his brother Donald Seiler. He is survived by: his wife Karen Greer Seiler of Hoover; his children, Terri Knowles (Jeff) of Montgomery and Eric S. Seiler (Tammy) of Blairsville, Georgia.; his grandsons, BJ McLain of Montgomery, Sam Seiler (Maggie) of Gainesville, Steven Seiler (Morgan Burns) of Greenville and Wes Seiler of Blairsville, Georgia.; his stepchildren, Lisa Greer Boland (Patrick) of Vestavia Hills and Matthew W. Greer (Ali) of Hoover; his stepgrandchildren, Shelton Boland (Scarlett) of Hoover, Greer Boland (Bartee Baumhauer) of Vestavia Hills, Olivia Greer, Liam Greer of Hoover, Addilyn, Kash and Ty Owens of Hoover; and his sister-in-law Kalliopi K. Hartley (Felix) of Birmingham. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home (475 Cahaba Valley Rd, Pelham, AL 35124). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 1:15 PM at the Alabama National Cemetery (3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115).
