He was predeceased by: his wife Betty; and his parents, Charles Baumgarten and Christine Baumgarten. He is survived by: his daughters, Lynn Hulberg and Lee Segrest (Chuck); his grandchildren, Lisa Gambrell, Paul Grambell (Michell), Michael Segrest (Destiny) and Greg Segrest (Melissa); and his brother Donald Baumgarten. He is also survived by four nieces and many friends.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in his memory to Oakmont Chapel Presbyterian or Christ the King Lutheran Church, Hoover, AL.
