It is with sadness that the passing of Rita Rae Schwarz (Hoover, Alabama) is shared. Rita, born on March 10, 1937, passed away on August 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Burkhart and Ada Burkhart; her brother Roland; her son Jay Schwarz; and her daughter-in-law Diane Schwarz (Lee).
She is survived by: her husband Bob (Bob); her children, Lee Schwarz (Doug) and Brad Schwarz; her grandchildren, Kellye Harris (Tyler), Brent Schwarz (Abigail), Rob Schwarz, Madison Schwarz and Matthew Schwarz (Sammy); and her great grandchildren, Evelyn, Caleb and Jane Harris.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request that donations be sent to the Alzheimer's Association (https://donorservices.alz.org) or the Missions Fund at Hunter Street Baptist Church.
