He is survived by: his wife Donna; his daughters, Laurie LeGrone (Stephen) and Susie Shanahan (Bobby); his grandchildren, Keith LeGrone (Nicole), Jake LeGrone, Jack Shanahan, Maggie Bender (Dane) and Lillie Kate Shanahan; his great grandchildren, Lily and Kay; his nephew Mike Weeks; and his grandchildren, Sru, Sachi, Sara, Sama, H'Po, Luke, Santigo, Tula, Jensu and Romyn.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Dawson Memorial Baptist Church (1114 Oxmoor Rd, Birmingham, AL 35209). A memorial service was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
