It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas William Granger Jr. of Hoover, Alabama, who passed away on July 23, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas William "Bill" Granger and Gail Grotewiel Granger; and his sister Carla Granger Dillard. He is survived by: his wife Janice Kerr Granger; his children, Erin Rogers (Dustin) of Opelika, Alabama and Thomas "Will" William Granger III (Christy) of Birmingham, Alabama; his brother Scott Granger (Nancy) of Knoxville, Tennessee; and his grandsons, Towner Rogers and David Granger.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hunter Street Baptist Church (2600 John Hawkins Pkwy, Hoover, AL 35244). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Southern Heritage Cemetery (475 Cahaba Valley Rd, Pelham, AL 35124).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Tom's memory to the American Cancer Society.
