She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Carter and Bertha Jones Carter; and her husband Henry S. Cook, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, John Cook of Houston, TX and Clarke Cook (Cecilia) of Birmingham; her grandchildren, Brandon Cook and Amanda Southwick (Nathan); and her great grandchildren, Kailyn Simmons, Noah Southwick, Kaylee Cook and Brielyn Cook.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home (475 Cahaba Valley Rd, Pelham, AL 35124). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
