William left this world on March 30, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He is survived by: his wife Jean Moore Steed; his children, Benjamin Steed of Atlanta, GA and Holly Steed Waller (Michael) of Birmingham; his grandchildren, Leyton and Grey Waller; and also, Dr James Davies, Dr Stephen Bell, Dr Caroline Harada and Dr Marianthe.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to St Jude's or Shriners Hospital.
