With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles R. Cleveland of Horton, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 17, 2025 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles R. Cleveland to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Cleveland and Lilla Ivey Cleveland. He is survived by: his wife Helen Cleveland of Horton; his children, Ricky (Angela Cleveland), Philip (Trina Cleveland) and Wendy (Gabe Fulenwider); and his grandchildren, Mattie Cleveland, Tessa Cleveland, Becca Cleveland, Kristina Cleveland, Anna Lea Cleveland, Tyler Cleveland, Jackson Cleveland, Charlee Fulenwider, Gavin Fulenwider, Michael Cleveland, David Cleveland, Travis Cleveland, Joseph Cleveland, Luke Cleveland and Griffin Fulenwider. He is also survived by 6 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Global Methodist Church (4415 County Hwy 21, Horton, AL 35980). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donation to "Bright Little Minds" a nonprofit Foundation for children with autism, 3728 Woodvale Road, Birmingham, AL 35223.
