With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Drexell Morrow of Horton, Alabama, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Drexell left this world on August 5, 2025 at the age of 100, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Morrow and Nannie Morrow; his wife Nellie Jo Horton Morrow; his son Steve Morrow; and his siblings, Nadine Henry, Rebecca Jordan, Floyd Morrow, Lawrence Morrow, Kenneth Morrow, Phillip Morrow and David Morrow.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rachel Bonds (A. L.), Angie Wilson (Larry), Dawn Hilley (Bruce) and Leah Watson (Steve); his daughter-in-law Glenda Morrow; his grandchildren, Greg Bonds, Scott Bonds, Beth Chaffin, Leann Wilson, Christina Brooks, Cain Morrow, Seth Morrow, Christian Hilley, Charlotte Hilley, Meghan Hilley, Savannah Galliher and Ben Watson; and his brother Johnny Morrow. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Liberty Hill Baptist Church (2090 Douglas-Hyatt Rd, Horton, AL 35980). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at the Liberty Hill Cemetery (16101 TX-29, Liberty Hill, TX 78642).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Liberty Hill Baptist Church or Shepherd's Cove Hospice.
