She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Burden and Gladys Walker (Monroe); her husband Jim Yancey; and her siblings, Robert Walker, Rickey Walker, Billy Walker, Nelda Freeman, Glenda Woods, Mavelyn McIntosh and Marilyn White.
She is survived by: her son Mark; her daughter-in-law Minnie Yancey; her grandchildren, Christian Phelps, Jason Basham, Jr. and Gracie Ulmer; her great grandchildren, Gabriel Phelps and Alex Phelps; and her brothers, Coyce Walker, Marlin Walker and Larry Walker.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Snead Funeral Home (170 Richman Dr, Snead, AL 35952).
