She was predeceased by : her parents, Charlie Elrod and Bonita Rice Elrod; her husband Lavell Pledger; her daughter Glenda Pledger; and her siblings, James Thomas Elrod, Mary Whitaker and Cooter Elrod.
She is survived by : her daughter Myra (Todd Gordon); her grandsons, Toby Strawn of Horton and Trey Strawn of Horton; her great grandchildren, Teagan Strawn, Sadie Strawn and Liam Strawn; and her siblings, Jody Elrod, Sheridan Edmonds, Charlene Stone and Tina Taylor.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, 1779 Mt. Sinai Road, Horton, AL 35980.
