She was predeceased by: her parents, James Calvin and Annie Wilmer Mercer (Watson). She is survived by: her husband Gary Loftin; her children, CJ Chadwick (Will), Michael Jernigan (Buffy), Stephen Jernigan (Cindy) and Alyson Aplin (Steve); her brother Danny Mercer (Ocie); and her close friends, Donna Kennedy, Andrea Katz and Missy Marsh. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
