She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Louis Knapp; her parents, Hewitt Gwin and Edith Gwin; and her friend Bill Farrah. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Knapp and Jill Knapp Davis (Blaine); her grandchildren, Christopher Davis and Kelsey Parker (Jon); her great grandchild Clay; her sister-in-law Betty Murphree; her cousin Doris Gene Vines; and her pet Trip. She is also survived by her son-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peoples Chapel Funeral Home (195 Brooklane Dr, Bessemer, AL 35023). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
