She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Madison Willis and Albert Dutton Willis; her siblings, Monroe, Robert, Charles, Glenn, Virgil "Shorty", Virginia "Irene" Vines and Myrtle Lou Dean Willis; and the father of her children James Harvey Hurley Sr..
She is survived by: her husband James Allen Freeman; her children, Sharon Hurley Willis (Gary), James "Jamie" Harvey Hurley, Jr. (Jennifer) and Racheal Hurley Pinegar (Eddie); her grandchildren, Danielle Hurley, Abigail White (Blake), Allison Willis and Tori Kendrick; her great grandchildren, Kinadee Hurley, Lola Hurley, Paige White, Emma White and Lakin Vance; and her siblings, Nancy Willis Carter (Glenn), Laverne Willis Burnett, Danny "Jug" Willis (Dana) and Phillip Willis (Patsy). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Peoples Chapel Funeral Home (195 Brooklane Dr, Bessemer, AL 35023).
