He was predeceased by: his parents, Quincy Carroll and Leva Carroll; his son Larry Carroll; and his siblings, John Carroll and Jerrett Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Carroll; his stepdaughter Debbie Cheek (Jim); his sister Louise Smith; and his grandson Christopher Carroll (Addie). He is also survived by five step grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Valhalla Cemetery (839 Wilkes Rd, Birmingham, AL 35228).
