He was predeceased by: his wife June Holman; his parents, Melvin Holman and Marion Holman; and his brothers, Buster, Bert and Walter Holman.

He is survived by: his grandchild Reveille; his children, Patricia Jackson (Greg) and Mark Holman; his grandchildren, Jill Preuninger (Stephen) and Chad Jackson (Brandi Hadaway); and his great grandchildren, Grey Preuninger, Cameron Hadaway, John Tyler Hadaway and Lili Holman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
