He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce; his daughter Pam; his son-in-law Ronnie Patterson; his parents, Eola Gallups and Porter Gallups; and his siblings, Ordice Gallups, Harlan Gallups, Coy Gallups, Doris Varner, Margaret Ann Robinson, Mary Poer and Kathleen Parker.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Laura Lee; his daughters, Debbie Whisenhunt (Jack) and Rebecca Pattterson; his grandchildren, Pamela Patterson (Chris), Blake Whisenhunt, Jordan Whisenhunt (Christina) and Holley Whisenhunt; his great grandchildren, Gracie, Casper Beavers, Olivia, Sophia, Audrey, Amelia Whisenhunt, Liz, Beth Studdard and Jacob Studdard; and his great great grandchildren, Karri and Aria Smith.
