He is survived by: his siblings, Cynthia Sligh Payne (Farentino) of Huntsville, Sonya Sligh of Huntsville, Wanda Sligh of Lafayette, Georgia, Melvin Brown, Jr. Hurt (Michelle) of Huntsville, Alabama and Ronald Acklin (Gwendolyn) of Huntsville, Alabama; and his nieces and nephews, Rhondalyn Acklin, Sierra Brandon, Lashonda Brown, Kearia Henderson, Robin Henderson, Antonio Sligh, Keontae Sligh and Amber Taylor. He is also survived by five great-nieces and great-nephews; along with a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.
